Substance Abuse

Tonight’s top new track was ‘Collateral Damage’ by Substance Abuse. This track is a perfect mix of head-nodding beats and lyrics that flow with both fury and reason. I think Substance Abuse are going to be household names in hip hop in the future. But maybe they’re too uncompromising to follow that path?

Ivor Cutler

Tonight’s best old tracks were both provided by Ivor Cutler who passed away last week. As I was playing ‘The Meadows Go’ I couldn’t help but marvel at Ivor’s way with a song. The man was simply a great songwriter. He’ll be missed by many.
